Wi-Fi down? Let's get you back online

When the internet goes out, everything stops working at once — email, the TV, the tablet, the doorbell camera. And every fix guide online starts with "just go online and…" which is no help at all when you can't.

That's why Pronto is a phone call. Your phone still works when your Wi-Fi doesn't. Call us, and a patient AI assistant will walk you through getting your connection back — which lights to look at on the router, what to unplug, how long to wait, and what to try when the simple restart isn't enough.

The help line is (786) 305-6399— $0.50 a minute from prepaid credit, no subscription. The voice on the line is an AI assistant (it will tell you so), it never asks for passwords or card numbers, and if we can’t fix your problem, the call’s on us.

How a call goes

  1. First we figure out what's actually broken: one device that won't connect, or the whole house offline? Those are very different problems.
  2. We find your router together — the box with the blinking lights — and read what its lights are saying right now.
  3. The right restart, in the right order (modem first, then router, then wait — the waiting matters), not just frantic unplugging.
  4. If one device still won't join, we fix that device's Wi-Fi settings — forget the network, rejoin it, re-enter the password (you type it, never us).
  5. Still dark? We help you check for an outage in your area and tell you exactly what to say to your internet company so the call with them goes faster.

Common questions

How do I call you if my internet is down?

Your cell phone's calls don't need your home Wi-Fi — they go over the phone network. That's the whole point of Pronto being a phone line: it works precisely when your internet doesn't.

Can you fix slow Wi-Fi, or only Wi-Fi that's completely out?

Both. Slow is often fixable: a router that hasn't been restarted in a year, a device stuck on the wrong network band, or too much distance between the router and where you sit. We'll walk through it and tell you honestly if the real fix is your internet plan, not your equipment.

Will you need my Wi-Fi password?

No — and we'll never ask for it. If a step needs the password (like reconnecting your tablet), we tell you where to type it and you enter it yourself. Real support never needs your password spoken aloud.

What if it's my internet provider's outage, not my equipment?

Then we'll figure that out quickly and tell you — that part of the call usually takes a few minutes, not an hour. You'll hang up knowing whether to wait it out or call your provider, and what to tell them. And if we couldn't actually fix anything, the call is credited back automatically.
