Terms of Service
Effective date: 05/14/2026 · Last updated: 2026-05-14
1. Accepting these terms
Pronto is operated by Pronto AI LLC (“Pronto,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account, adding credit, or using the Pronto help line, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
2. What Pronto is
Pronto is a phone-based AI assistant designed to help with everyday consumer technology questions — resetting an Apple ID, getting a printer back online, recovering an email password, pairing a TV remote, and similar. The service is reachable by calling a phone number we provide. The voice on the line is software, not a human. The agent can search the public web for vendor support pages, walk through steps verbally, and connect to a human if needed.
Pronto is not a substitute for a licensed technician, a professional accountant, a lawyer, a doctor, or any other regulated professional. It is a general-purpose helper for low-stakes consumer tech tasks.
3. Your account and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe.
- You must provide accurate billing information and keep it current.
- You’re responsible for safeguarding the email address used to access your account. Account access uses a one-time code sent to that email.
- See the pricing page for current per-minute pricing.
4. Call recording
Calls to the Pronto help line are recorded. At the start of each call, the agent says aloud that the call may be recorded. Continuing on the call constitutes consent to recording.
We use recordings and transcripts to deliver the service, generate summaries, debug agent behavior, and improve the system. Recordings are retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted from our storage. Transcripts and summaries are kept for longer; see the Privacy Policy for the full retention schedule.
If you call from a state with stricter recording-consent laws (some U.S. states require all parties to consent), your continued participation after our spoken disclosure constitutes that consent. You may hang up at any time before that point.
5. Pricing, billing, and credit
- Pronto is pay-as-you-go. There is no monthly subscription. You are charged a per-minute rate for the time you spend on the help line; the current rate is shown on the pricing page.
- You pay by adding prepaid creditto your account through Stripe, our payment processor. We don’t see or store your card number. Call time is deducted from your credit balance at the per-minute rate.
- So the help line stays available, we save your payment method and automatically add credit (a fixed top-up amount) whenever your balance falls below a low threshold. You can view your balance, add credit manually, or turn off auto-reload at any time from your account page.
- Prepaid credit does not expire. It has no cash value and is non-transferable.
- Prepaid credit is non-refundable except where required by law, or where you believe you’ve been charged in error — in which case contact support@pronto.helpand we’ll review in good faith.
- We may change the per-minute rate or the top-up amounts for future purchases. Changes never retroactively affect credit you have already bought.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for anything illegal.
- Try to make the agent help with abusive, harassing, threatening, or deceptive content (including impersonation or scams).
- Use the service to extract bulk data, scrape transcripts, or reverse-engineer our prompts/models.
- Resell access to the service, or share account credentials with people who aren’t authorized callers on your account.
- Use the service to seek advice on activities that meaningfully harm yourself or others (we can and will refuse).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.
7. Disclaimers — no professional advice
Pronto provides general information and walk-throughs. It’s an AI; it can be wrong. We don’t guarantee that any answer is correct, current, or appropriate for your specific situation.
- Pronto is nota security or financial professional. Don’t share passwords, full credit-card numbers, Social Security numbers, or two-factor codes with the agent.
- Steps the agent suggests (e.g., changing settings, installing software, deleting files) are taken at your own risk. Back up your data first if you’re unsure.
- Outbound text-message links the agent sends point to vendor-official domains, but we do not control those vendors’ websites or what happens after you click.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Pronto at any time, and request account deletion from your account page. We can suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if a payment is reversed or disputed, or if continuing to provide the service to your account would meaningfully harm us or others.
On termination we will, on request, delete your data per the Privacy Policy’s deletion process.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pronto’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) USD $50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions the limits apply only to the fullest extent permitted.
10. Changes to the service or these terms
We may change the service (features, model, pricing) and these Terms over time. For material changes to Terms we’ll email the address on file at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the service after the effective date counts as acceptance.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that can’t be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Newark, NJ, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
