Locked out of your email? We'll walk you back in
Getting locked out of your email is uniquely maddening, because everything wants to "send you an email" to fix it. Meanwhile the photos from your grandkids, your bills, and half your life sit on the other side of a password you can't remember.
Pronto walks you through the official reset process — Google's, Yahoo's, whoever's — step by step, on the phone, as slowly as you need. We text you the official reset link so you don't have to type tricky addresses, and we never, ever ask for your password. You type everything private yourself.
One honest warning, because you'll find them if you search: there are services and "helpers" out there that offer to recover accounts for you if you share your password or a code they send you. That's how accounts get stolen. The safe path is the official reset flow, done by you, with someone patient on the line — which is exactly what this is.
The help line is (786) 305-6399— $0.50 a minute from prepaid credit, no subscription. The voice on the line is an AI assistant (it will tell you so), it never asks for passwords or card numbers, and if we can’t fix your problem, the call’s on us.
How a call goes
- Tell us which email you're locked out of — Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Outlook, your internet company's email — and what happens when you try to sign in.
- We text you the official reset page for your provider (from our number, with the real address — you can read it before tapping).
- We walk the reset together: the security questions, the backup phone or email, the codes — one screen at a time, with us explaining what each screen is asking.
- You choose a new password and type it in yourself. We'll talk about how to keep it somewhere safe — written down at home is genuinely fine.
- We make sure you're actually signed in again — on your phone AND your computer — before we say goodbye.
Common questions
Will you ask for my password or the code that gets texted to me?
Never. Not the old password, not the new one, not the 6-digit code. Those codes are exactly what scammers ask for — so we designed Pronto to never need them. We tell you where to type things; you type them.
What if I don't remember the answers to my security questions?
The official reset flows have several doors: a backup phone number, a backup email, a previous password, sometimes just time and patience. We'll try each one with you. If every door is closed, we'll say so honestly and explain what the provider's account-recovery process involves.
Can you help with two-factor authentication problems?
Yes — "it wants a code from my old phone" is one of the most common calls we get. Depending on the provider there's usually a backup path, and we know where they hide it.
How long does a reset call take, and what does it cost?
Most email lockouts take 10–20 minutes — $5 to $10 at 50 cents a minute. If we can't get you back in, the call is automatically credited back to your balance.
