Your smartphone, explained one step at a time
Smartphones are wonderful right up until they aren't: the text is suddenly tiny, the photos won't send, a mysterious icon appeared, or the phone "did something" and now everything looks different.
Pronto is a help line for exactly those moments. Call from any phone — even the smartphone you're asking about; we'll manage — and a patient AI assistant walks you through it in plain language. iPhone or Android, in English, Spanish, Russian, and more. No question is too small. "How do I make the letters bigger" is a completely legitimate call, takes about three minutes, and changes your whole day.
The help line is (786) 305-6399— $0.50 a minute from prepaid credit, no subscription. The voice on the line is an AI assistant (it will tell you so), it never asks for passwords or card numbers, and if we can’t fix your problem, the call’s on us.
How a call goes
- Tell us what you want to do — or what the phone suddenly started doing — in your own words. No jargon needed.
- We confirm what phone you have (iPhone or Android, roughly how old — we'll help you check).
- One tap per turn: we say where to look, you tell us what you see, and nobody moves on until you're ready.
- We finish by doing the thing once more together, so it sticks — and you can call back any time it doesn't.
Common questions
Can you help me even if I'm calling from the phone that has the problem?
Yes — that's most of our calls. We'll have you put the call on speaker so you can look at the screen while we talk. We'll walk you through turning speaker on, too.
What kinds of smartphone things do you help with?
The everyday ones: making text bigger, sending and saving photos, adding contacts, silencing spam callers, freeing up storage, finding a missing app, connecting to Wi-Fi, updating without fear. And the scary-looking ones — strange pop-ups, "your phone is infected" messages — which are usually scams we'll help you recognize and dismiss.
iPhone or Android — do you do both?
Both, all common models. The menus differ and we know both sets. Just tell us what you have — and if you don't know, we'll figure it out together from the buttons on the phone.
My kids set up this phone and I don't want to bother them. Is that what this is for?
That's exactly what this is for. Call as often as you like — that's why it's 50 cents a minute with no subscription, instead of a monthly fee for calls you might not make. Many families add starter credit so their parent can call guilt-free.
